Is there a digit limit?

Yes, there is a limit of 15 significant digits total (combined digits before and after the decimal point) to ensure calculation accuracy.

How does rounding work?

When the “Round Results” option is enabled, Conversions uses arithmetic rounding to round numbers to the nearest whole number.

How does Conversions handle very large numbers?

Conversion results are displayed in full without any decimal places when they’re whole numbers, and with up to 12 decimal places when they include a fractional part.

How does Conversions handle very small numbers?

Conversions shows up to 12 decimal places for precise results. For numbers smaller than 0.0000000001 Conversions returns “≈ 0” (approximately zero) to indicate that the actual number is very small but non-zero.

Can I use scientific notation?

Scientific notation is recognized for numbers up to 15 significant digits (for example 1.23E+14). You can paste it in or use a hardware keyboard for input.

What gets saved to History?

Conversions are recorded automatically whenever you make any changes to your conversions and leave the Convert screen. Favoriting a conversion records it right away.

Where are my Favorites and History stored?

Both are stored locally on your device and never sent to any server. They aren’t synced between devices, and they’re removed if you delete the app.

How many conversions can be saved?

You can save up to 25 favorites. History holds your 100 most recent conversions, and once it’s full the oldest entries get replaced with new ones. Favorites are exempt and don’t count toward the History limit.

Can I share my conversions?

Yes, you can share your conversions via text or email using the Share options in the toolbar menu.

Does Conversions require internet access?

No, Conversions works completely offline. Internet access is only needed for app updates through the App Store.

1. Update app to the latest version.
2. Restart your device and try again.
3. Check your storage and clear space if necessary.

Privacy and Data Security

Conversions does not track or store your data on remote servers. All conversions remain on your device for your privacy.
